The Enhancement Forums is one of several listening posts used to bring enhancement ideas to the ConnectWise Product Management Team. We utilize information from support tickets, information gathered from our onsite Consulting Team and our Sales Team during the sales process, as well as one-on-one or group discussions with our partners. 

Do you have an enhancement you want to suggest or have you come across an enhancement you would like our Product Management Team to review?  Vote and leave a comment.  The more information gathered on the enhancement, the easier it is to make the case to the Product Management Team. The Product Management team automatically reviews enhancements with 250 votes or more and we will provide any updates to that enhancement as they become available.

Format Axis to match Dataset Design

We would like to be able to format the X- or Y-Axis in our chart graph gauges to match the Dataset design - if it's set as a % or $, to be able to format the axis to be the same.  For example currently, if we are using a % for data across a period of time, we have a 0 to 1 scale on the Y-axis and the time on the X-Axis.  This causes some confusion for clients or colleagues who may be viewing the gauge.

Include created_by field in CW Manage Invoice Data dataset

The Invoice Data dataset contains fields like updated_by and adjusted_by, but not created_by, which seems like a big oversight. We need to be able to report on who created invoices, and the workaround we've been given is to create a custom field, which would rely on someone manually setting that every time they create an invoice.

CVE Data Availability

Currently we can see CVE information in the RMM > Security > Vulnerability portal and even see it listed if we export all the devices into a csv.  However, that information isn't available when creating a report in Brightgauge.  It's important that we can provide an executive summary report that contains new/critical/remediated CVE details to management

Persistent Legend Filters

When using the Legend in a gauge on a dashboard, we can click to hide certain data.

In my example I have a gauge that displays a service trendline for a group of companies and we can use the legend to filter companies out. When the dashboard is reloaded, this filter is reset.

Please add Median as a measure option

I would like to see the median ticket age for example, not the average, as average is highly sensitive to extreme high or low values (outliers).

Same goes for a lot of different KPIs.

Median should be a choice in the same way as "count", "sum" and "average".

Preserve Column Name and Order during CSV Export

Currently, if you export in CSV multi-layered gauge, it renders CVS file with the accurate number of columns, however, the manes are not preserved so you need to basically reconcile which column in the sheet matches the gauges. The order of the columns is also is not preserved, so if you wan to use the data in CVS, you firs need to do thorough reconciliation.

Reset scheduled report to template

Currently if you have scheduled reports using a report template, and then make changes to the template, those changes are not reflected next time the scheduled report runs.

The only way to update the scheduled report is to start from scratch and schedule a new report using the updated template.

Have the ability within a scheduled report config to revert/reset the layout to the active template would be a massive time saver.

Blocked Patching report

I would like the ability to have a gauge that would show which/how many servers have blocked patches. As we get into a more security focused world, some of our clients would like to know what servers did not have patches applied due to being blocked.
