API Upload of Contact emails
Please add an API feature to allow customer emails to be applied to specific reports via data upload
Access to Quickbooks Data
I was under the impression that I had virtually unlimited access to tables and fields in on-premise applications such as QuickBooks with Brightgauge?? The first attempt at a gauge I attempted was for my retail division... to show daily sales by payment method (Cash, Credit Card, Check, etc.)... no such fields are available.
These limitations are very crippling and disappointing with this otherwise potentially impressive product.
Back to the drawing board with the horrible QB Advanced Reporting Tool, which is similar to PSA Report Writer, which I assume I will also have to use for a lot of what I still need out of PSA as well.... we will see.
Upload for Brightgauge View only
The ability to take a CSV and upload the First, last and email un bulk import for view only user creation. Migrated form Automate into the new RMM is painful when you need to recreated 100s of view only accesses for reporting.
Directly Download Dashboard Template
I would like to see the ability to directly download dashboard templates featured by other companies instead of having to reference the buildout key and having to build them manually. This would save a massive amount of time and allow for quicker modifications as needed.
Increase the dataset date ranges
Having been told recently in our BrightGauge kick off and implementation meetings that a simple client level request could be made to increase any dataset and that the current ones were just the defaults. This turned out to be false and CW Support have told me to raise an enhancement.
For example. The dataset Ticket Statistics Last 240 Days, this isn't even a year of ticket data that for many is the bare minimum to get useful reporting and ticket trends.
I think there shouldn't be any limitations
Add site_name as field on Configuration dataset.
Brightgauge support aren't able to pull through the Site at this stage as they're "not accounting for an endpoint in our API calls that would correlate to the Site". Support has suggested that I create a partner request for this to compliment their own feature request.
Increase 300 character limit for Time Entry notes pulled from PSA
I would like to pull more than 300 chars, ideally 1,000, from Time Entry notes. This is because we want to pull specific time entry notes into customer facing reports being generated from BrightGauge, as this saves us a lot of time adding the text manually into reports.
I have been told that BG is not limiting the chars and it is the PSA API, however I figured worth raising on here because the direct impact of this is data coming into BG.
Customer Mapping for Dashboards like Reports
I'd like to be able to create dashboards and share with customers, however relying on a board filter is not good enough to ensure the data is limited to the customer. All it takes is for someone to change the dataset to alter the filters capabilities.
If the option to select the customer for a dashboard was like we do for reports via client mapping, it would be more secure.
Add Variables!
It would make a lot of my gauges easier if there was a design option to use specific variables without having to manually adjust numbers every time certain things change. For example: %customers% would be the total number of customers and %endpoints% would be the total number of endpoints. Even just letting me define a value for %placeholder% so I only need to make one change would be very useful.
