Welcome to the BrightGauge Enhancement Forums

The Enhancement Forums is one of several listening posts used to bring enhancement ideas to the ConnectWise Product Management Team. We utilize information from support tickets, information gathered from our onsite Consulting Team and our Sales Team during the sales process, as well as one-on-one or group discussions with our partners.

Do you have an enhancement you want to suggest or have you come across an enhancement you would like our Product Management Team to review?  Vote and leave a comment.  The more information gathered on the enhancement, the easier it is to make the case to the Product Management Team. The Product Management team automatically reviews enhancements with 250 votes or more and we will provide any updates to that enhancement as they become available.

Want to know what the statuses mean?  Click here or on the "Status Legend" in the Links section.

Add the Actual_hours and Actual_cost fields from time entries to the Invoice Data dataset.

This, in combination with expenses and products, will allow for better measurement of time spent and labor costs for clients compared to revenue

Change Owner Of a Goal List so I can remove myself

Dustin Morse 3 months ago 0

I am unable to remove myself from the goal list since I am the owner. I receive dozens of e-mails relating to these list that I need to assign over to the approiate Manager/Director.

Per support,"If you wanted to change the Goal List Owner, you would have to make a new goal list and manually copy your goals to the new list. As there is no way to move the goals/recorded values over to the new goal list automatically."

Creating a new goal lis,t we lose all the historical data of these existing lists for technicians...

3CX intergration

Fred Rioux 4 months ago 0

3CX is one of the biggest players in the world of IP telephony. Several call centers and MSP use it. Their (3CX) reports aren't great, so it would be very beneficial to have an integration between 3CX and BG to create reports and dashboards.

They have good doc on their Rest API: How to Use 3CX Configuration API

Quickbooks: Invoice date paid

Samuel Williams 4 months ago 0

I have customers looking to use Brightgauge to make more digestible reports for their sales teams.  We can ingest most of the data we're looking for right from Quickbooks but the "date paid" field isn't ingested?  This feels like a critical oversight for an invoicing dataset.  There's the "is paid" flag but not a date field in sight.  We would love to see this added to the base dataset from the Quickbooks datasources.

Submitting a request for last logged in user information from N-Central as per ticket #02296585 and #02808073

We need this information for monthly reporting to inform customer of redundant devices so they aren't being billed for devices in use.

Agreement recap carryover expiry date

Matt McGrath 7 months ago 0
We use agreements with set hours/value per month, that have a carryover expiry. There doesn't appear to be any reports or gauges in Connectwise or Brightgauge that can display the expiry date of a block of time/money. We currently have to use best attempt guesses on how much of a customer's balance is set to expire each month.
Additionally, there is no ongoing reporting of what cumulative value has been "expired" while positive (so we can see, how much of these agreements expire unutilized)

Thanks
