Welcome to the BrightGauge Enhancement Forums
The Enhancement Forums is one of several listening posts used to bring enhancement ideas to the ConnectWise Product Management Team. We utilize information from support tickets, information gathered from our onsite Consulting Team and our Sales Team during the sales process, as well as one-on-one or group discussions with our partners.
Do you have an enhancement you want to suggest or have you come across an enhancement you would like our Product Management Team to review? Vote and leave a comment. The more information gathered on the enhancement, the easier it is to make the case to the Product Management Team. The Product Management team automatically reviews enhancements with 250 votes or more and we will provide any updates to that enhancement as they become available.

Pull in Services for Bright Gauge Integration
Hello, could you please allow us to pull services information into bright gauge? Right now its just applications but some software that we want to report on only appear as services, not applications.
Transitioning Calculated Metrics from Positional Indexing to Unique Layer IDs
I’d love to see the BrightGauge development team move from positional indexing to Unique ID referencing for multi-layer gauges.
Currently, when we build sophisticated gauges with multiple layers and calculated metrics, the formulas appear to be tied to the layer's order (1, 2, 3). If we need to remove an intermediate layer or reorder them for better visual clarity, the "link" to the data often breaks. This requires us to manually re-map the calculation pills to the new layer positions.
I believe moving toward persistent ID-based references would benefit the entire community by:
- Improving Reliability: Reducing the risk of "broken" dashboards after minor maintenance.
- Encouraging Innovation: Allowing us to experiment with more complex, multi-layered data sets without fear of "breaking the logic."
- Saving Time: Freeing up MSP admins to focus on data insights rather than gauge troubleshooting.
Does anyone else run into this when refining their reporting? I’m curious if others have found creative ways to manage layer dependencies, or if this change would help your workflow as much as it would mine.

Drop down option in Dashboards
It would be nice to have a custom drop down option for dashboards to apply filters. For example, in my case I have multiple clients that I want to create a dashboard for but instead of having to create multiple dashboards for each client a simple custom drop down option would be wonderful. This would be very similar to when you select multiple company's while creating a report. Currently in Reports, you can create the report and in the preview there is a drop down of all the selected company's. There is a way to do this with the filter option, but it is a pain to have to always unselect all the companies you do not wish to see data for.
Reporting on breached tickets that are in waiting status
We are able to get a list of breached tickets as long as their status is 'Active'. However we are unable to get a list of tickets that are breached when they are in 'Waiting' status, especially for those breaching Resolution.
This should definitely be part of the functionality
LogicMonitor - report on Meraki SNMP that we see but cannot report on
We have LogicMonitor as a Datasource but we are not able to pull in Meraki SNMP device data which we can see in LogicMonitor. Much of the "auto" Information pulled into LogicMonitor from Cisco API /Meraki API is not able to be reported on in BrightGauge.
We would like the ability to pull information from most fields we see in LogicMonitor.
Pull Customer Updated flag for Connectwise Project Tickets
It would be great if we could have a datapoint similar to the Customer Updated flag for CW service tickets that can view Customer Updated flag for CW project tickets.
