Welcome to the BrightGauge Enhancement Forums

The Enhancement Forums is one of several listening posts used to bring enhancement ideas to the ConnectWise Product Management Team. We utilize information from support tickets, information gathered from our onsite Consulting Team and our Sales Team during the sales process, as well as one-on-one or group discussions with our partners.

Do you have an enhancement you want to suggest or have you come across an enhancement you would like our Product Management Team to review?  Vote and leave a comment.  The more information gathered on the enhancement, the easier it is to make the case to the Product Management Team. The Product Management team automatically reviews enhancements with 250 votes or more and we will provide any updates to that enhancement as they become available.

Add "Received date" field to Purchase Order Dataset

Pier-Luc Mailloux 4 months ago 0

In Connectwise Purchase Order, we can see the purchase that.
That would be great to track it through brightgauge, this way we would be able to see our inventory age quickly.

Send report as CSV option

Dale Woodington 4 months ago 0

As well as having a pdf options, have the ability to export the report as a CSV. This will allow those of us who want to do granular reporting utilize items such as PowerBI to graph and trend this over and beyond the 240 days available in brightgauge.

Ticket Template Data

Shannon Gomes 6 months ago 0

We would like to pull data from Ticket Templates in ConnectWise PSA. We have recurring events that happen for some or all of our clients and want to be able to build a gauge to ensure that no clients have been missed. We would want to cross reference the Ticket Template Data with Company data and Service tickets.

Add the Conditions field from RMM in the Devices Availability dataset in the Connectwise RMM datasource.

David Dooley 7 months ago 0

In RMM I can filter on a field called Conditions so that I can filter on Alerts Suspended condition.  We use the Devices Availability dataset to show servers that are down, but we have servers where we have suspended alerts, which is what we use instead of Maintenance Mode from Automate, most of these servers are down for a reason and we want to filter them out of the servers down gauge.  We need this field in the devices availability dataset in able to do that.

Suggestion for Optimizing Alert Reporting

Hamza Godil 7 months ago 0

Hello Team,

I wanted to suggest an improvement regarding how alerts are reported for individual devices. Currently, when a machine fails multiple times, the same error message is listed repeatedly, which makes the report unnecessarily lengthy and harder to interpret.

Would it be possible to consolidate these repeated alerts? For example, instead of listing the same error five or six times, we could summarize it as:
"This error occurred 5–6 times. Last failure recorded on [date]."

This approach would make the report more concise and easier to understand, while still retaining the necessary information.

Thank you
