  • What difficulties or problems are you trying to solve with your team?

The status' are simple and easy to understand. If you see something that Needs Your Feedback, read it and comment! The more voices we have in this forum, the better solution the team can provide.

Allow regular users too see the app waffle to quickly get to ASIO

Cindy Reid 2 years ago updated by Larry Kahm 2 years ago 1

In CW Home, regular users cannot see the app waffle in the top right corner, I use this to navigate to the Asio Platform as it’s much easier to remember home.connectwise.com than control.itsupport247.net. What’s weird is that only users with the Admin permission in Home can see the app waffle, yet you do not need to be an Admin to access Asio Platform or the other apps it links to, so I’m wondering why regular users can’t see it?

ConnectWise System Status available without authentication (when SSO is broken, for example)

Sam Parker 4 years ago updated by Brian Simpson 1 year ago 1

https://university.connectwise.com/University/SystemStatus/SystemStatus.aspx needs to be accessible without authentication (logging in).  Otherwise, partners cannot view status when SSO is broken, etc.

Add IT Boost integration to Connectwise Home Hub pod.

Daniel Janci 4 years ago 0

Currently IT Boost is not able to be integrated with the Connectwise Home hub pod on the homepage. This would be largely beneficial to include as a single point to launch applications without the need to configure an individual SSO for just IT Boost.

Bundle Training Lessons into our own Course we could give to new Team Members

Kyle Izumigawa 4 years ago 0

This would be helpful so we don't have to individually choose every time a new team member starts.

Ticket Escalation Button

Sean Keown 5 years ago 0

Need the ability to escalate tickets from the home portal. This could be used for many reasons, from time to time tickets will get lost, forgotten about, or maybe you just need some extra eyes on the ticket.

Our current provider has this feature and will prompt the user (us) on the reason for escalating a ticket.

CW Home Permissions for Asio Client Site Access

BL Tim S 3 weeks ago 0

Currently, with the new update (https://docs.connectwise.com/ConnectWise/Asio/Access_Rights_and_User_Roles/Assign_Resources), the way permissions for Client/Site level access per user are managed are painful, slow, and time consuming.  The process needs to be improved to support group experiences.  Such as, being able to assign a group of clients or sites to a "support" role, where then all users within the support role can now access that batch of client/sites.  Adding them one at a time or adding all to everyone, is not best practice and not feasible.  Please help develop a solution to make this better.

Mass updates for roles in Home for Unite

Brian Chandler 2 years ago 0

We just implemented Unite into our system and in order for users to see Unite in their Manage account, I have to manually add the permissions for the Unite role to each user and also each company inside of Unite. I would like for there to be a way to just assign the Help Desk or Finance role for Unite to each Home user and then have an option for All companies instead of having to drop down and select each of the M365 companies before I can click save.

Show / Hide Hours in Calendar - Default display an 8 hour day instead of 24 hours?

Gregory Ganio 1 year ago 0

Add the ability to "Zoom" hours of the day in the Calendar section of CW. Currently when I view my calendar, Day, Week, Next 7, all of them, I am presented with All 24 hours of the day, with each hour being divided in half, and items fitting to the nearest quarter hour mark.
I will almost never ever mark time, or schedule something for 3 AM or 9 PM. Can we make it so I can see ONLY 8 AM to 5 PM? Scrolling up or down to hours before or after my workday would be fine too, but as it is right now, 2/3rds of my calendar view is blank space that will almost never be used.

No workflow rule to target child tickets / levels

Ian Maclaren 1 year ago updated by Preston Grant 1 year ago 1

When we child tickets to other tickets we have to manually change the status to a custom created closed ticket status. Everyone forgets to do this causing our metrics to be skewed and hundred of child tickets floating in our service board that most people cannot see unless they have Levels view added. If there was a way workflow rules could filter on Child/ level then we could automate this and reduce headache.

ConnectWise Home Timeouts

Session Timeout ConnectWise Home

Hello,

A great feature that I would love to see added to the ConnectWise Suite is a Timeout Session for ConnectWise Home.

By default we purchased many products in the suite of software with ConnectWise, and since this is cloud based, there isn't much control when it comes to who accidentally leaves an open home session open on a general computer.

When using the HOME SSO configuration, our products: manage, automate, control, sell, itboost, if a session is forgotten about, a random user who knew where to click could get all sorts of passwords and access to things. This would be bad.

I guess the workaround here is to not use ConnectWise Home SSO and move to a 3rd party SSO provider. But I'd rather not as I enjoy the native functionality of CW Home's SSO.  It works great.
