Welcome to the ConnectWise Automate Enhancement Forums

The Enhancement Forums is one of several listening posts used to bring enhancement ideas to the ConnectWise Product Management Team. We utilize information from support tickets, information gathered from our onsite Consulting Team and our Sales Team during the sales process, as well as one-on-one or group discussions with our partners.

Do you have an enhancement you want to suggest or have you come across an enhancement you would like our Product Management Team to review?  Vote and leave a comment.  The more information gathered on the enhancement, the easier it is to make the case to the Product Management Team. The Product Management team automatically reviews enhancements with 250 votes or more and we will provide any updates to that enhancement as they become available.

Expose VSA Software Management Module Data via the API for SaaS hosted versions of VSA

William O'Donnell 6 days ago 0

The hosted SaaS version of VSA provides no SQL access, and the BrightGauge API does not address the Software Management Module data. This means that since migrating to the hosted VSA we have not been able to deliver customer patching reports as per our agreement with our customers.  The suggestion is to remedy the API so that that data is returned and we can recreate our reports. I expect there must be many Kaseya customers in the same position

Allow Brightgauge & CPQ SuccessList report to integrate

Nicholas Wixon 3 weeks ago updated by Prithviraj Patil 1 week ago 1

Successlist should be able to be pushed as a datasource for brightgauge. As is, the report in CPQ's settings is decent, but it's hidden away in settings. Pushing this as a datasource to a dashboard or report in BG would be great.

Moving around Gauges on a Dashboard is very Painful

Michael See 1 month ago updated by Prithviraj Patil 1 week ago 2

Moving Gauges in BG is painful when you have alot of gauges on a dashboard.  Every time you move one gauge it has to resize and you can't even move to the top of the dashboard easily.

Calculated column in List Gauge

It would be useful to be able to add a calculated column in a List Gauge, similar to what is available in the Table Gauge

Microsoft 365 Integration to Brightgauge

Nicholas Filicetti 3 weeks ago 0

Reporting on licenses and who they're assigned to is a common question we're asked. An integration to report or display these on a dashboard would be beneficial and streamline our TBRs.

KnowBe4 Integration to BrightGauge

An integration with KnowBe4's Security Awareness Training and Phishing data would be beneficial to our technology business reviews and reporting capabilities.

VSA X

David Bell 1 month ago 0

We'd like to see Kaseya VSA X integration within BrigtGauge. We depend on using BrightGauge for dashboards and sending reports to clients, but as we move on to VSA X from VSA 9.5, we are losing this ability.

Report Page Export Option

Nex-Tech TSG - Tony Anthony 1 month ago 0

The reports page currently has very limited sorting and search functions. While these features are being enhanced could we please get an option to export the data on the page? We can then work with the data in excel to find what we are looking for.

Examples:

  • Hard to find customers when there are hundreds for reports.
  • Counting reports when they fail to generate.

Soft label for drilldown fields

jordan henwood yesterday at 8:21 p.m. 0

It would be so useful to apply a soft label to all fields, so that when we use them in Drilldown they always default to that soft label.

Ideally we can then overwrite that default soft label on a case by case basis

I'm currently working through a task to standardise our drilldown list, which means manually updating the soft label across hundreds of gauges, it's very painful

Ability to copy or template Drilldown fields

jordan henwood yesterday at 8:17 p.m. 0

It would save a lot of time if we could copy or template the drilldown fields in gauges. There are a few ways I could see this being useful

  • Default drilldown field list linked to dataset. Code in a list of the most commonly used fields in a dataset drilldown, and default these in the first tab of any new gauge created using that dataset
  • The ability to template drilldown fields and import them to a gauge.
  • The ability to copy the drilldown fields from another tab in the same gauge
