Expose VSA Software Management Module Data via the API for SaaS hosted versions of VSA

The hosted SaaS version of VSA provides no SQL access, and the BrightGauge API does not address the Software Management Module data. This means that since migrating to the hosted VSA we have not been able to deliver customer patching reports as per our agreement with our customers.  The suggestion is to remedy the API so that that data is returned and we can recreate our reports. I expect there must be many Kaseya customers in the same position

A quick update on this feature request.

  1. Software Management module exists in VSA 9. There are no REST APIs available to access Software Management module.
  2. After our discussion with Kaseya team, there is no plan for the Rest APIs development for Software Management module in VSA 9. The idea is to move away from VSA 9 to VSA 10 gradually, which offers more features.
  3. The alternative Patch Management do exist in VSA 10
